Konstantin Stawenow, born in Erfurt in 2003, is a poet and aspiring wood sculptor. In addition to writing poems for literary journals and anthologies, he also regularly creates texts for his voluntary work at the YMCA Thuringia, for which he led a writing workshop last summer. Among other things, he is a member of the poetry collective @partnersinpoem and a participant in the Thuringian text workshop Poesie & Praxis as well as young poems 2023 at the Haus für Poesie. In 2022 he was awarded a first prize in the Eobanus Hessus writing competition by the Erfurt Autumn Reading. In 2023 he was awarded a first prize at the Young Literature Forum Hessen-Thüringen.

Buchengarten Readings

On the festival weekend, Akademie der Künste turns into a poetic hidden-object picture. More than 40 poets and translators will read in the Buchengarten on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Poetry volumes and journals can be purchased at the book market on Sunday.
