Grünbein, Durs

Durs Grünbein, born in 1962 in Dresden, lives in Berlin and Rome. After the opening of the Iron Curtain, his travels took him through Europe, to Southeast Asia and to the United States. He was a guest of the German Department at New York University and the Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. Most recently published: “Falten und Fallen” and “Äquidistanz” (both Suhrkamp Verlag 2022).
