Ferretti, Giorgio (c) Quang Nguyen

Giorgio Ferretti, born in 1990 in Lecco, Italy, has lives in Germany since 2014. He is studying at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig since 2019. He is involved in the publishing collective hochroth Leipzig and is on the editorial board of the literary magazine Edit. Poetry, prose, drama and essays by him have been published in various journals, including BELLA Triste, PS Politisch Schreiben and Das Narr. In 2022 he won the exil-Dramatiker:innenpreis.

On the festival weekend, Akademie der Künste turns into a poetic hidden-object picture. More than 40 poets and translators will read in the Buchengarten on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Poetry volumes and journals can be purchased at the book market on Sunday.
