Elisabeth Pape, born in 1995, grew up between Berlin and Czernowitz/Ukraine, studied theatre and literature at the Free University of Berlin and then scenic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. For the Koblenz Theatre, she reworked and completed Anton Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard” in the 2021/22 season. She was a city writer for the studierendenWERK Berlin and has tried her hand at lyrical miniatures. Her play “Extra Zero” was awarded the Kleist-Förderpreis 2023. She also received the Leonhard Frank Scholarship 2023. Her texts are represented by Rowohlt-Theaterverlag.
