neo seefried, born in 1995, and xan egger, born in 1971, work as queer authors, cultural mediators, podcasters, curators, performers and visual designers in Berlin. The common focus of their work is on academic research, cultural mediation inside and outside institutions, speculative poetics, artistic actionism and political activism, as well as socially critical engagement. In 2021 they jointly founded the queer (interdisciplinary)(collaborative)(transversal)(transformative) platform “( ) Space” with changing allies, contributors, accomplices and partners.

Buchengarten | Free admission

On the festival weekend, Akademie der Künste turns into a poetic hidden-object picture. More than 40 poets and translators will read in the Buchengarten on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Poetry volumes and journals can be purchased at the book market on Sunday.
