Yevgeniy Breyger, born in 1989 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, lives in Frankfurt am Main. He is a German-language poet, translator and editor. In his latest poems, he explores the zones of uncertainty and human dislocation created by the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine. His most recent poetry collections are “Gestohlene Luft” (kookbooks 2020) and “Kryptomagie” (mikrotext 2023). In 2021, he won the Munich Poetry Prize and currently is Helsinki City Writer 2023.
