Cleo Wächter is a visual artist, curator and anthropologist. She is interested in the concept of landscape and her research focuses mainly on our relationship to our environment and how people give meaning to landscape. She is currently a research assistant in the Department of Art & History at the District Office Mitte and is part of the artistic management team of the Bärenzwinger. Her work has been shown and published at Stroom Den Haag, the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, and the Floating University in Berlin, among others.
