Jorinde Minna Markert, born in Berlin in 1994, writes and performs theatre and spoken word. Her first play “SCHNEE – oder: die Fabel vom 3 Sekunden Gedächtnis” was nominated for the Retzhofer Dramapreis 2019 and was staged at the Staatsschauspiel Hannover and at the 4+1 Festival at Schauspiel Leipzig under titles that changed too often. Jorinde Minna Markert is a writer for Nachtkritik and is currently studying literary writing in Leipzig. She likes to perform and likes to go against the patriarchy. She has been performing with the jazz band “Hypochondriac Fears” since 2021. If it turns out that text is not the best foot to use to kick against the patriarchy, she will gladly retrain and learn something reasonable.
