Charlotte Van den Broeck, born in Turnhout, Belgium, is a poet, editor at De Standaard and teaches creative writing in Antwerp. In her artistic work, she seeks access to the speakability and physicality of oral poetry. Her publications include the poetry collection “Nachtroer” (De Arbeiderspers 2015) and the book “Wagnisse” (Rowohlt 2021), an essayistic approach to thirteen tragic architects who committed suicide because of fatal flaws in their buildings.
