Alice Notley, born 1945 in Bisbee, Arizona/USA, lives in Paris, is one of the most famous poets of our time. Her work is characterised by crossing borders in all directions. She has published more than 40 volumes of poetry, including “Grave of Light: New and Selected Poems, 1970-2005” (Wesleyan University Press 2008), “Songs and Stories of the Ghouls” (Wesleyan University Press 2011) and “For the ride” (Penguin 2020). She has received many awards for her work.
